Paring Knife

Posted by Mac Cutts on February 13, 2010

paring knifeWhat is a good brand of cutlery?

I am looking to start a good collection, but I don’t know what a good price or brand would be. I also cant afford to spend a ton of money. Right now I have a Farberware Chefs Knife and paring knife. I dont know if its me or not, but it doesnt really dice, chop etc. that well. Also, I read stainless steel isnt very good, and I think that is what they are.

Help! Any help is appreciated!

I own a set of Chicago Cutlery and am very satisfied with them. the initial cost can be high unless you buy them around Christmas when they go on sale, but they last a lifetime and hold an edge better than any other knife I own. You also have the option of buying one knife at a time until your set is complete.
