Importing Knives to Victoria AUS?

Now, I’ve seen some other questions like this, so if their is anyone who KNOWS THE ANSWER to this question PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE answer. Ok.
Is it legal to import a HUNTING Knife to VICTORIA in AUS? There are so many more variety of knives in America and I can’t find the particular ones I want here. I know ALL the rules of carrying them so I don’t need help with that just whether you can import them and what customs would do to you when it’s imported.
Thank you very much.
Sha

You can buy all sort of knives in Australia and they are generally imported, though I know that some double-edged and Flick Knives are banned as they don`t have legitimate uses. but to be sure contact the Australian customs department to hear what criteria they set.
